【明報專訊】出現突發性心臟病，心臟科醫生的救援固然重要，但若病人在送達醫院前，心臟已停頓一段時間，便難以救治。所以病人在救護車趕往醫院前，有否得到及時的急救支援，往往是關鍵因素。<\/p>\n

養和醫院急症科專科醫生岑健指出：「病人出事後，當下的急救非常重要，如心臟停止兩分鐘左右，影響血液流通，無血上腦，可引致腦缺氧，可能出現永久性損傷，甚至變植物人。」<\/p>\n

持續心外壓增生存機會<\/p>\n

她指，現時香港情况，求助者由報警至救護車抵達現場，平均約需逾九分鐘，若其間有人施行急救，持續進行心外壓， 生存機會可大大提升，否則送至心臟科醫生，亦難以救治。<\/p>\n

岑健說，不少外國學生，小學高年級已具備基本的心外壓知識，試過有案例指小朋友在家救了病發的家人，使之保持腦部基本的血液循環，不至變成植物人。若香港的學生積極學習急救，相信可幫助更多人。<\/p>\n
