【明報專訊】盆腔炎與一般個人衛生沒有太大關係，不會因為使用不乾淨的廁所或公共毛巾等而被傳染；婦產科專科醫生柴逸蘭指出，反而最常見是由性接觸帶進病菌而引發炎症，因此安全性行是預防盆腔炎的最有效方法。然而，盆腔炎雖然與性「關係」密切，卻不能稱為性病，因為婦科檢查或手術亦可能致病。<\/p>\n

柴醫生稱，近年盆腔炎患者增多，可能與社會風氣趨向開放有關，因為性伴侶愈多便愈容易感染經由性接觸傳播的傳染病，盆腔炎是其中之一。要預防便應進行安全性行為，使用安全套以免受細菌感染，若發現有性傳染疾病亦要盡早處理。<\/p>\n

雙雙求醫防交叉感染<\/p>\n

她說，當種菌結果發現盆腔炎是由性病引起時，病人都會感到驚訝和憤怒，指摘伴侶是「病源」或「偷食」所致。然而，病源不易追查，因為病菌可能早已潛伏，現任伴侶可能「食死貓」，故通常會勸喻病人不要追究責任，並建議伴侶一同接受治療，否則可能會交叉感染。<\/p>\n

至於其他生活上的建議，例如下身的清潔或衛生，柴醫生表示，有些女性疑惑需不需要使用特別的清潔液清洗陰道，然而，錯誤或不恰當地使用這類產品，反而可能把外陰的細菌帶入陰道，其實日常簡單使用清水清潔外陰便已足夠。<\/p>\n
