【明報專訊】問﹕請問強度多少以上的紫外線，我們才需要做防曬？<\/p>\n

答﹕天文台每天會公布翌日紫外線指數的預測，包括低（0-2）、中（3-5）、高（6-7）、甚高（8-10）、極高（11或以上）。指數愈高，紫外線（UV）愈強，而當指數達3，已足以灼傷皮膚，代表我們要做好防曬準備。<\/p>\n

陽光的紫外線會誘發皮膚細胞產生基因突變，是引致皮膚癌的主要原因。夏天日間要避免長時間在街道上行走，要適當塗上防曬用品，皮膚少外露，多穿長褲、長裙和有領的長袖上衣，以密度較高的物料為佳，在太陽下戴闊邊帽和貼面闊邊的太陽眼鏡。到戶外玩耍時應攜帶傘或找遮陰處，避免陽光直射。而無論任何人到熱帶、沙漠、高原等地區旅遊時，更要做足防曬措施。<\/p>\n

太陽燈UV傷害遠勝日光<\/p>\n

問﹕曬太陽燈真的會致癌嗎？其紫外線的強度是否等同太陽日照？<\/p>\n

答﹕太陽燈是一個會釋放紫外線的儀器，用來照射皮膚製造人工古銅色效果。一般的曬燈機由數盞發亮的燈組成，其中混雜磷光劑，以廣照的射線釋出紫外線，仿照太陽光的效果。室內曬太陽燈釋出的紫外線強度，是大白天太陽光的三倍！<\/p>\n

研究顯示，30歲前經常曬太陽燈的人士，患上黑色素瘤皮膚癌的風險，較常人高出足足75%。古銅色的肌膚並不代表型格，更不代表健康，反而代表皮膚已受紫外線損害。任何紫外線都會損害皮膚，並增加患皮膚癌的風險，即使沒有被灼傷，皮膚曬黑已是受損的徵兆。<\/p>\n

太陽鏡顏色 與防UV無關<\/p>\n

問﹕太陽眼鏡顏色愈深，是否代表防禦紫外線功能愈好？<\/p>\n

答﹕太陽眼鏡的顏色與其防禦紫外線的能力，沒有直接關係。選擇時要留意鏡片過濾紫外線的能力，應選擇至少阻擋98%紫外線的，才足夠保護眼晴。<\/p>\n
