【明報專訊】自閉症為一種腦部因發育障礙所導致的疾病，其特徵主要是情緒表達困難、社交互動障礙以及日常上常見的重複動作，明顯的特定興趣等臨牀表現。自閉症的病因仍然未知。近幾年來連續有研究結果報道，患有自閉症的兒童體內的催產素含量明顯比正常兒童少，這些驚人的研究發現，證明某種行為習慣和人體激素有關。因此荷爾蒙激素療法被認為是能夠緩解孩子的自閉症的一種藥物療法，這種荷爾蒙為「催產素」，又被稱為「愛的荷爾蒙」。<\/p>\n

促使釋放「愛的荷爾蒙」<\/p>\n

在針灸療法中合谷穴（見右圖）是常用穴位之一，歷來已認識到針刺刺激合谷穴能促使人體自身釋放催產素，因此可以間接地理解為通過針刺合谷穴，針灸的效用有類似西藥催產素的作用，可以改善患兒理解他人的感情和想法，特別對重複的動作和特定興趣等臨牀表現有治療作用。它可以提高自閉症兒童大腦活躍性，讓他們更好地融入社會。<\/p>\n

很多自閉症的家長一般在同一時期中嘗試多種治療方法，所以在西醫建議的多種治療方法之上，加上針灸療法，可能會提高臨牀療效。<\/p>\n

此穴位於手背第一、二掌骨間，第二掌骨橈側的中點處。每次按揉雙側合谷穴各5分鐘左右，隔日一次。<\/p>\n
