【明報專訊】問﹕不少人說鼻咽癌是「廣東癌」，究竟為什麼？與飲食習慣有關連嗎？<\/p>\n

答﹕鼻咽癌在華南地區一帶的發病率頗高，尤以廣東最為嚴重，故鼻咽癌俗稱為「廣東癌」。鼻咽癌在香港常見的癌症排行第十位。流行病學上的觀察，一般估計與生活和飲食習慣有密切關係，皆因華南居民愛吃醃製食物，增加患上鼻咽癌的風險。<\/p>\n

易當鼻敏感　有家族病史注意<\/p>\n

鼻咽位於鼻子後部較深的位置，醫生一般需要利用鼻咽內窺鏡進行檢查及抽組織化驗才能確診。鼻咽癌初期往往沒有明顯的病徵，常被病者誤認為鼻敏感發炎。故建議一旦出現持續鼻塞、耳鳴、聽力減退、複視、流鼻血或頸部出現腫塊時，要盡早求診。若有家族成員曾患上鼻咽癌，更需要特別注意。<\/p>\n

近年醫學對鼻咽癌治療有很大進步，只要遵循醫生治療方案，痊癒機會是很高的。目前治療主要以放射治療及化療為主，治療後第一期患者五年存活率有九成左右，所以一旦患上鼻咽癌，毋須過分悲觀，早期發現治療後擺脫病魔的機率很高。<\/p>\n
